Privacy Policy

GO LIVE TOWN collects the information you provide when you create an account (email, name, role) and the information you submit through the platform (broadcasts, music, business listings, orders).

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who explicitly opted in during signup or another consent moment. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account notices) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.

Sharing with other businesses

We do not currently share your contact information with advertisers, venues, partner musicians or other partners for their own promotional or marketing purposes, and we have no agreements to do so. We do use service providers to operate GO LIVE TOWN — for example Stripe for payments, an email delivery provider for account and billing messages, and our hosting and database provider — and they process information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. If promotional sharing is ever proposed, we will ask for a separate opt-in for that specific sharing first, and only share with a business that has signed an agreement limiting use to that purpose and requiring it to honor opt-outs. We will notify you in advance by email and in the app, with the effective date, before any materially expanded use of your information, and will ask for your affirmative consent where required; staying silent or continuing to use the site is not treated as consent.

Site analytics

On golivetown.com we count page visits with PostHog to understand site performance. We record the page path (without search terms or links' query details), the referring website, a random device identifier and a visit session stored in your browser by PostHog's standard library. We do not record your name, email, form entries, clicks on page text, or screen recordings, and we do not build profiles of you. Visits are not counted when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Counts are estimates, not exact numbers of people. You can also turn it off for this browser here.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and revokes future marketing.
